This exalted and uplifting chant praises the joyous aspect of Shiva, the auspicious, indwelling Self of all beings. The words jaya jaya shiva shambho, mahadeva shambho mean “Victory again and again to Lord Shiva, the auspicious one; to Lord Shambhu, the benevolent one! Victory to Lord Mahadeva, the great God; to Lord Shambhu, the source of all happiness!”

This melody is based on the Darbari Kanada raga.
