Finding Your Ring Size
|
- Measure your finger in warm temperature at the end of the day.
- If your knuckle is a lot larger than the base of your finger measure both the base of your finger and your knuckle and select a size between the two.
- Find a piece of non-stretchy string or strip of paper no wider than 1/2" or 1cm.
- Wrap it around the base of the appropriate finger.
- Use a pen to mark the point on the string/paper where it overlaps, forming a complete circle.
- Measure the length from the starting end of the string/paper to the pen mark.
- Use this measurement and the chart to the right to determine your ring size.
- Different countries use different ring-size systems. These are standard American sizes.
- Your ring size will be about half a size larger on the hand you write with.
- When considering a wide band, move up a size from your measurement.
