Finding Your Ring Size

 

  1. Measure your finger in warm temperature at the end of the day.
  2. If your knuckle is a lot larger than the base of your finger measure both the base of your finger and your knuckle and select a size between the two.
  3. Find a piece of non-stretchy string or strip of paper no wider than 1/2" or 1cm.
  4. Wrap it around the base of the appropriate finger.
  5. Use a pen to mark the point on the string/paper where it overlaps, forming a complete circle.
  6. Measure the length from the starting end of the string/paper to the pen mark.
  7. Use this measurement and the chart to the right to determine your ring size.
  8. Different countries use different ring-size systems. These are standard American sizes.
  9. Your ring size will be about half a size larger on the hand you write with.
  10. When considering a wide band, move up a size from your measurement.
