On the morning of her birthday in June 1999, Gurumayi joined seekers at Gurudev Siddha Peeth, the Siddha Yoga mother ashram in India, to chant the mantra. As monsoon rains fell during the chant, quiet ecstasy of the morning unfolded. The melody evokes tranquility and a mood of prayerful yearning.
