Chanting
with Gurumayi Chidvilasananda
The words
of this chant, Om Bhagavan
Muktananda Bhagavan, are sung here in the majestic darbari raga . This
raga evokes feelings of longing for
union with the supreme Lord. Om
is the primordial sound from which all forms and sounds arise. Bhagavan means "the auspicious
Lord." Muktananda means "the bliss of freedom," and is
the name of Gurumayi’s Guru, Swami Muktananda.
Recorded
live at Shree Muktananda Ashram in South Fallsburg, New York, in 1992.
