Sung by Gurumayi Chidvilasananda and group

Jyota se Jyota Jagao, a joyful prayer, was written in the 1970s by a devotee of Baba Muktananda. Frequently sung at the beginning and conclusion of Siddha Yoga satsangs and Shaktipat Intensives, this prayer invokes grace and asks the Guru to dispel the darkness of ignorance and reveal the inner flame of love. On the Siddha Yoga path, Jyota se Jyota Jagao is traditionally sung while performing arati, an act of devotional worship through the offering of light and prayer.

Gurudeva Hamara Pyara, which means "To our beloved Guru," is a devotional hymn, written in Hindi by Swami Muktananda in praise of his Guru, Bhagavan Nityananda. This hymn, frequently sung at the conclusion of Siddha Yoga satsangs, expresses gratitude and love for the Guru's grace and teachings.

Included with the CD are the translations and transliterations of both chants as well as instructions on how to perform arati, the ritual waving of lights.
